I know I'm behind on updating and finishing the LSU post but I thought since I have the pictures from this past weekend handy I would post about Saturday.
Our day started about Noon as we headed north to Troy to Lauren (Troy Head Majorette's) home for the Alabama Game. Lauren's family went with us to Baton Rouge and was very kind and invited me to tailgate indoors and watch the Alabama Florida Game. We are all huge Bama fans. I was raised being an Alabama fan and there was no other option. It gets in your blood and it is there forever. My brother, however, is a different story. Somehow he became a Florida State fan.....I can handle that at least it wasn't Auburn! Although, he married and Auburn fan who was raised in an Alabama household. LOL! Oh, well, I guess we can overlook that. I will give a shout out to Mr. Jackson who is an Auburn fan also.

We ate and had wonderful food. The Alabama game was great at that moment. The Troy game started at 6 P.M. although the faithful Alabama fans stayed behind to watch the ending Dot and Melita left to be at the Troy game when the band marched in.

Needless to say we didn't have the ending we would have liked for the Alabama Florida game but you win some and you lose some. We just didn't want to lose this game or season. Bama is going to the Sugar Bowl so we still have another game. I would like to say I saw an interview with Saban tonight and I felt for him. I wanted to cry. He said that he felt that with Alabama losing he failed the team and the guys in giving them what they wanted so much and he hates he couldn't give it to them. That really touched my heart.

Back to Troy my Alma Mater. We left to go to the Troy game. Troy beat Arkansas State for a spot in the RL Carrier's Bowl in New Orleans. Most of the group and some new friends will be joining us on this trip. It should be fun.

I posted pics from the game and our fun time. I promise to update again soon and post more pictures.
Go Trojans!!!!!
