Spring time and Missing football

Good morning Troy Fans. What a beautiful weekend it is to be here in South Alabama. So excited but certainly missing football. However, Troy is busy with Men's and Women's Basketball this weekend and the Women's Tennis team is facing Ole Miss and Mississippi State this weekend. Good luck Trojans. We are pulling for you all to bring home wins.

I'm sure many of you have heard or seen on the news about a fan that poisoned the trees at Toomer's Corner in Auburn. While I'm a born and bred Alabama fan my heart breaks for Auburn University, their fans and this tradition. Rivals are rivals but this was a senseless act. I'm praying that maybe somehow the trees can be saved and will live on. It fills my heart to see our state, the teams and fans come together. I'm thrilled that Tide for Toomers is fundraising to help save the trees. I'm thinking we need a Troy for Toomers fund although I know our Troy fans overlap and are fans of Alabama and/or Auburn also.

As for football trips this year, I'm looking at Clemson and Mississippi State. I will keep you posted on plans and details closer to time for any fans that would like to join us.
